Course overview

Ready for middle school math

Grade 6 brings together everything from the elementary years. Students work with ratios, rates and percents, meet negative numbers and use the order of operations to solve more complex problems.

Algebra becomes a real tool as students write and solve equations, while geometry expands to surface area, volume and all four quadrants of the coordinate plane. Our goal: students who start Grade 7 confident, capable and curious.
